- Set up the schedule
- Add each teacher's lessons as a weekly pattern of slots with one seat: guitar on Tuesday afternoons in thirty-minute slots, piano on Thursday in forty-five. The ensemble is one entry with a start date and ten rehearsals inside it. The practice room is a run of free hourly slots on Sunday with one seat each.
- Take bookings and payments
- A parent books from your website or from the assistant and pays on your own Stripe or PayPal account. A single lesson is paid on the spot, a block spends one lesson from its balance, and the ensemble term is one purchase. The confirmation goes to the contact details you require, so the parent hears about the student's lesson.
- Handle changes and waitlists
- A lesson canceled inside your window is returned to the block; one canceled late is not. Nothing needs reconciling at the end of the term. The freed slot goes to the waitlist with a time-limited offer. When a teacher is away, cancel their slots and every student is told on the channels their family gave you.

- Can students book a practice room?
- Yes. It is free for students and still takes a slot, so the room is never double-booked.
- Can teachers have separate diaries?
- Yes. Run each teacher as their own set of sessions, or use the Multi plan for separate locations.
- Can students book a different teacher when theirs is away?
- Yes. Every teacher's slots are on the same booking page. A student with a block balance can spend a lesson with another teacher if you allow it on that session. The block balance moves by one lesson either way.
- How do I handle exam accompanists?
- An accompanist session is a one-off with its own price and one seat, beside the weekly lessons. The student books it like any other lesson, and the money settles on your own account. It sits in the calendar beside the regular slots.
- Can I sell instrument hire alongside lessons?
- Yes. Run a monthly hire as a membership and read it at booking, or sell it as its own session from the same page. Either way it settles on your own Stripe or PayPal account, and the student books it beside their lessons.
