Messaging that starts free.
- Reminders and updates go out by email everywhere, unlimited. The booking page also offers customers free native channels: add to calendar, a Wallet pass, and phone notifications. No carrier is involved and nothing is charged.
- Text and WhatsApp messages come from your monthly messaging balance, priced per country at the rate you see before you enable them, in your currency. Top up only if you choose to; auto top-up is optional.
- We email you at 80% and 100% of your balance, and you get a statement before any charge.
Under the hood
Every message is recorded with its channel, destination and actual carrier cost as it happens, and billed from that record. You are never charged above the per-country price you were shown.

Questions
- Do you charge per booking?
- No. account42 is a flat subscription. Stripe or PayPal charge their own processing fees, and those go to Stripe or PayPal, never to us.
- Do I need a card for the trial?
- No. The 14-day trial does not ask for a card.
- Can I change plans?
- Any time. Billing prorates when you move up or down.
- What happens if I go over my bookings?
- We tell you and suggest the next plan up. Bookings are never blocked mid-month.
- What counts as an assistant conversation?
- A customer or owner chat session, however many messages it has, up to 30 minutes. Past your monthly allowance the booking page simply shows the regular booking form until the next month.
- What if my studio is seasonal?
- Pause for $9 a month. Everything stays: settings, customers, credits, your booking page in “next season” mode. You are back with one click. Cancel outright and your account is deleted after 90 days.
- What does texting cost?
